About us

History:

1960:
Foundation as a single-member company by Erich Kuchler in Planegg near Munich.
Start as sole agency to the two wheel industry and to two wheel wholesalers.
Working area Bavaria.

1961:
Expandation into the automitve sector.
Responsible for OEM and service stations.
Start of building up a service network with car service stations all over Bavaria.

1965:
Moving to Stockdorf.
Start with the distribution to car service stations within Bavaria.

1965 – 1989:
Further developement of the service network in Bavaria.
Early start of over nicht delivery of spare parts to increase the service quality.
Complementation of the sale program by own items, which are also sold outside of Bavaria.

1993:
Thomas Kuchler joins the company after the study of mechanics and economics.
Change of the legal form of the company to Erich Kuchler OHG (general partnership).
Expandation of the working area onto South-Germany, Austria and Swiss.

1998:
Matthias Kuchler joins the company after the study of electronics and several years of work in the automotive industry.
Start with the sector Technical Idustry Supply.

2003:
Change of the legal form of the company to Erich Kuchler GmbH (limited company).

2009:
Expandation of the storage area in Freiham.
